Pharmacies can be the "first gateway" to the SNS

The president of the National Association of Pharmacies (ANF) argues that pharmacies can be a "first port of entry" into the National Health Service, making a prior assessment of situations, which could reduce the pressure on the SNS

This will be a theme to be addressed in the 14th Pharmacy Congress, with the slogan "Health Closer to Everyone", which takes place between Thursday and Saturday at the Lisbon Congress Center.

This national meeting of pharmacists aims to discuss the many ways in which community pharmacies, particularly through their highly qualified teams, can become a complement to the structures of the National Health Service to improve access to health care, argues the president of ANF, quoted by Lusa news agency.
