Starting this month you can now travel from Porto to Iceland, Latvia, Norway, Denmark and Austria

The Francisco Sá Carneiro airport adds these new routes to its vast offer.
Luís Pedro Martins, president of Turismo do Porto e Norte de Portugal, believes that "2023 may be a record year in the number of companies flying to the Francisco Sá Carneiro airport".
"This increase in airlines and if the behavior that the destination had in January and February continues, everything indicates that [2023] may also be a record year in the number of guests and overnight stays. Let's hope it will also continue to be a record year in terms of revenue", he stresses.
According to Diário de Notícias, based on information provided by Agência Lusa, Austrian Airlines will have three weekly frequencies from April 1, to Vienna (Austria); the Icelandic airline Play will start operating on April 6, with two frequencies to Reykjavik (Iceland); and the Latvian Play will also provide two frequencies to Riga (Latvia), from May 1. Norwegian Airlines will connect Porto to Oslo (Norway) and Copenhagen (Denmark), twice a week, starting June 22 and 23, while Scandinavian Airlines will connect to the Danish capital, also twice a week, starting September 1.
