Oporto's Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport was elected one of the best in Europe

According to the "AirHelp Score 2022" ranking, promoted by AirHelp, the airport infrastructure is in seventh place among Europeans and in 54th place worldwide. At a national level, it was elected the airport with the best score - 7.67 points out of a possible 10.
Punctuality, customer consideration and the quality of the restaurant and stores area were among the main criteria for this distinction. The airport of Porto obtained, in these parameters, respectively, a score of 7.10, 8.52 and 8.53.
"Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is in the 54th position and is the fifth largest rise compared to 2019, mainly due to the better performance in the "punctuality" weighting," says the company, also highlighting its position in the top10 of the best European airports.
The European ranking is led by Barajas airport, in Madrid, and the world ranking by Tokyo Haneda International Airport.
Note that the AirHelp Score lists, annually, the best and worst airports in the world.
