The sunny days were good, but it looks like they will say goodbye to mainland Portugal already starting this week
The rain returns with Carnival and, according to the Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) is accompanied by falling temperatures.
At stake is the passage of a cold frontal surface in the middle of the week, which will bring a mass of polar air that will condition the weather in Portugal.
For this Tuesday, meteorologist Paula Leitão said in an interview with TSF that is expected "cloudy skies" and showers, which may be "scattered and frequent, especially in the North and Center regions. During the day, temperatures should be around 15-16 degrees in northern Portugal.
From Thursday, the IPMA expects a decrease in minimum temperatures, especially in some northern regions, which may reach minus degrees.
