RSI increases 10% to 209 euros

The Government updated the reference value of the Social Integration Income by 10.26%

In the ordinance published this Friday, January 20, in the Official Gazette, one can read that "the value of social insertion income corresponds to 43.525% of the index of social support (IAS), or (euro) 209.11". Until now, the SII had a value of 189.66 euros.

The measure currently covers 198 thousand beneficiaries. The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Ana Mendes Godinho, says the increase will mean an additional cost of 30 million euros.
