Spectacle "Coisas"

Puppet Theatre to be seen from 11 to 15 November at the Teatro Municipal de Matosinhos

“Coisas”, the new production of Teatro de Marionetas do Porto for children and youth public premieres this week, a co-production with Teatro Municipal de Matosinhos Constantino Nery.

Based on a short story by Júlio Vanzeler, the Marionetas do Porto explores, through the eyes of different characters, how contact with different objects influences the construction of identity and how they can be decisive in the vision of the world and of ourselves, at the most tender age.

A box whose function is to store and organize, but which dreams of being a garden, a suitcase that is a memory, a girl in a body that is a cabinet of curiosities, a camera that struggles with the stubbornness of time and things that question the place of things. Things that are part of everyday life, but in places we never imagine seeing them and where they always carry their memory from place to place.

The play can be seen from tomorrow, November 11, until next Tuesday, November 15, at Teatro Municipal de Matosinhos Constantino Nery at the following times:
