Carnaval is celebrated as early as next week
A festivity full of color and revelry, which is mostly celebrated in the streets. Given that at this time there is also a break in school activities, the timetables adopted by STCP - Sociedade de Transportes Colectivos do Porto will be adjusted in order to meet the expected levels of demand in the six municipalities where it operates.
On Monday, February 20, the entire STCP network will assume the "school vacation" timetable. While on Tuesday, Carnival day, the schedules and frequencies adopted will be those of "Sundays and public holidays".
And on Wednesday, February 22nd, the "school vacations" timetable will be in force, with the exception of the "900s" Lines, which serve Vila Nova de Gaia, where normal timetables will be resumed since this municipality has adopted the half-yearly organization of the school year in force and the interruptions of educational and teaching activities are distinct.
