There is live music with sign language in Matosinhos this Friday

The performance is part of the “Musical Fridays” initiative, which takes place every Friday in July and August at The CookBook, in NorteShopping.

The schedule for the second edition of “Musical Fridays”, the event that takes place at The CookBook, the innovative and trendy food court in NorteShopping, is back and will receive a very special performance this Friday, July 15th. The young artist João Tinoco will give music to whoever is at the Center, together with the sign language interpreter Marlene Almeida.

The moment, which starts at 8:00 pm and lasts approximately one hour, aims to break as many barriers as possible to the experience of music, being inclusive and inviting to visitors with hearing impairment. João Tinoco, who spoke last year on the program “The Voice Portugal”, broadcast on RTP1, promises a unique performance.

The musical agenda of “Musical Fridays” for July also includes Cravo & Canela Music (22nd) and Pop Up Vozes Portáteis (29th), also at 8 pm. In August, the performances will run until the 19th.

This initiative results from the Open Call, the cultural call for shopping centers managed by Sonae Sierra, launched in April, which aims to reinforce the leisure component and the experience within these spaces, of which NorteShopping is a part.
