Young people invited to discover the University of Porto's training offer

The Multiusos de Gondomar will once again host between 20 and 23 April "the biggest science and experimentation festival in the North"

Thousands of visitors of all ages will be able to get to know the University of Porto's showcase of courses and participate in dozens of scientific experiments and demonstrations.

In the event it will also be possible to "perform practical lessons of painting and drawing, cosmetics production experiments, health screenings, meet the latest autonomous vehicles or test the principles of Physics and Chemistry in different interactive experiments", advances the press release.

On the other hand, this is the ideal space for primary and secondary school students who want help in choosing their future higher education course. "Hundreds of teachers, students and technicians from the University of Porto will be present to present the respective courses and answer all the doubts of the younger ones about study plans, access requirements or professional outlets", reads the document.

So that everyone has the opportunity to visit the Mostra 2023, the U.Porto will provide a free and permanent transport service to Multiusos de Gondomar, with departures from Campanhã (beginning of Rua Pinto Bessa), Metro do Estádio do Dragão, Metro de Fânzeres, Planetário do Porto and Asprela.

Entrance to the event is free, and the doors will open from 10am to 7pm, during Thursday and Friday (April 20 and 21). At the weekend, it opens at 11am and closes at 7pm (Saturday 22nd) and 6pm (Sunday 23rd).
