International Women's Day is celebrated today, March 8th, and with it comes the news of the opening of registrations for the Women's Race, to be held in Porto, on May 21st
The event, considered "a true hymn to women", is open to all age groups and "intended exclusively for women", with the intention "to bring together thousands of women for a solidary cause, the fight against breast cancer".
"Running or walking the 5 km distance, in a morning full of animation and party in the Invicta city, the reflection and awareness for the prevention and treatment of breast cancer are the main objectives of the event," reads the official website of the organization, where you can submit the registration.
The start is scheduled for 10 a.m., and the race starts and ends at Alameda das Antas, near Estádio do Dragão.
As usual, part of the value of the entries reverts to the IPO Porto.
