Kalle Rovanpera wins the 56th edition of the race
The 56th edition of the WRC Vodafone Rally de Portugal has come to an end. The big winner of the race was Kalle Rovanpera.
The Finnish Toyota driver thus repeats last year's victory. Dani Sordo, from Hyundai, from Spain, took the second place and Esapekka Lappi, also from Hyundai, from Finland, completed the podium.
The podium consecration ceremony took place this Sunday, 14 May, at the Matosinhos waterfront, and was attended by the President of the ACP- Automóvel Clube de Portugal, Carlos Barbosa, and the Mayor, Luísa Salgueiro.
In this edition, 19 stages were covered over a total of 1.636,25km (329,06 timed) in a race which counted on the participation of 90 teams, the largest entry list ever.
