Urban Race will affect traffic in Matosinhos

The race will take place next Saturday and will cover several streets in Matosinhos, affecting traffic from 4 p.m. onwards. From Thursday onwards, parking will be prohibited on certain streets. See all restrictions here.

Traffic in Matosinhos will undergo changes next Saturday, 30 August, with parking restrictions starting on 28 August, due to the Matosinhos Urban Race cycling event, which starts at 7:30 p.m.

Parking restrictions:

• 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝟐𝟓 𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐥 (no parking from 7 a.m. on 28 August);

• 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢́𝐥𝐢𝐨 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬 (no parking from 7:00 a.m. on 29 August);

• 𝐀𝐯. 𝐃. 𝐀𝐟𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨 𝐇𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬 – in the direction of Câmara/Praça Guilhermina Suggia (no parking from 7 a.m. on 29 August);

• Rua Alfredi Cunchá (no parking from 7:00 a.m. on 30 August);

• Rua 1.º de Maio (no parking from 7:00 a.m. on 30 August).

• 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐜𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐜̧𝐚̃𝐨 𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨 𝐚 𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐬: from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.;

• 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐜̧𝐚̃𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚̂𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐨: from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The local authority has announced that all addresses within the affected area will remain accessible during the event.

The authorities will be on site to provide support and information on alternative routes.
